US NIW and EB-1A · Hong Kong assessment
Professionals with evidenced research, technical, business or other achievements and a clear US plan.
Eligibility, funds and family plans
Check before applying
NIW: first establish EB-2 eligibility, then assess the proposed US endeavour and national interest waiver requirements. Self-petitioning is possible.
EB-1A: assess sustained national or international recognition, achievement evidence and overall eligibility. A degree or job title alone is insufficient.
I-140 approval is not a green card. Visa availability, priority dates and later processing must be checked separately.
Chargeability commonly depends on birthplace and applicable rules. A Hong Kong passport alone does not determine the queue.
Review your background
Start with family goals, work or business experience, qualifications, available funds and your intended timeline. Professional achievements need real supporting evidence.
Passport copies and asset evidence are not needed for an initial enquiry. If a further document review is appropriate, we explain its purpose and how information will be collected.
Application planning and consultation
From assessment to application planning
1. Review your background and family goals. 2. Check eligibility, evidence gaps and relevant professional review. 3. Explain the responsible professionals, service scope and fees before engagement.
Approval remains a government decision. Review business or investment risks separately from immigration requirements and family arrangements.
Next step: request an initial assessment
Review eligibility, evidence requirements and the service scope before deciding whether to apply. Residence, permanent residence, citizenship and investment returns are not guaranteed.
