PRIVACY POLICY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION STATEMENT
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. WHO WE ARE
This policy explains how PremierVisa Group (Hong Kong) Limited (PremierVisa, we, us or our) handles personal data in connection with this website, enquiries and our immigration consultancy services. It applies to the Hong Kong company and is based on Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). A separate collection notice or service agreement may explain the handling of data for a particular service.
2. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
For an initial enquiry, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, intended destination and the background information you choose to provide. For a detailed assessment or an agreed application service, relevant information may include identity and passport details, nationality, date of birth, family relationships, qualifications, employment, business and financial records, immigration history, and health or criminal-record information required for the application. We collect only information necessary for the relevant purpose. An initial enquiry does not require a full passport copy, bank statement or medical record.
We may receive information directly from you, from a representative you have authorised, or from relevant professionals and authorities in connection with your instructions. Before providing another person’s information, ensure you have authority to do so and that they understand the relevant purposes. Information about children should be provided by an authorised parent or guardian.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use relevant data to respond to enquiries, assess possible immigration pathways, provide the services you request, prepare and follow up applications, verify identity and documents, manage appointments, contracts and payments, handle complaints, and meet applicable legal obligations. We may also use relevant technical information to operate, secure and improve the website.
Providing personal data is generally voluntary. If a field is marked mandatory, or information is necessary for a requested service, not providing it may prevent us from contacting you, completing an assessment or providing that service. Please keep information accurate and tell us about material changes.
Data will be used for the purpose for which it was collected or a directly related purpose. Where a new purpose requires your prescribed consent, we will obtain it before using the data for that purpose, unless an applicable legal exception applies.
4. SHARING AND OVERSEAS TRANSFERS
Where necessary for the stated purposes, data may be disclosed to authorised staff; immigration lawyers, migration agents and other professional advisers involved in your matter; translation, certification and document-service providers; relevant government, consular, skills-assessment and other application authorities; and providers of website hosting, customer relationship management, communications, IT support and payment services.
Recipients may be outside Hong Kong, including in the country relevant to your application. Overseas data-protection laws may differ from those in Hong Kong. We will limit disclosure to what is necessary and take practicable steps, including appropriate contractual or other safeguards where applicable, to protect data handled by service providers. Before application documents are sent, you may ask us about the relevant recipient, destination and purpose. We may also disclose data where required or permitted by applicable law.
5. DIRECT MARKETING AND YOUR CHOICE
We may wish to use your name, telephone number and email address to send information promoting our immigration consultancy services, consultations, seminars and related events by email, telephone or messaging channels. We will give the required notice and obtain your consent or an explicit indication of no objection before doing so, subject to applicable law. Silence or merely submitting an enquiry is not marketing consent.
Marketing consent is optional. You can refuse or stop direct marketing at any time, without charge, through an available unsubscribe option or by emailing info@premiervisagroup.com. Refusing marketing does not prevent you from making an enquiry or receiving an agreed service. Necessary replies and application updates are separate from marketing. Providing your data to another organisation for its own direct marketing requires the notification and written consent required by law.
6. COOKIES, WEBSITE AND THIRD-PARTY CHANNELS
This website is hosted on Wix. Cookies and similar technologies may support website operation, security and preferences. Depending on the tools enabled, analytics and advertising technologies may also process device or browser information, IP addresses, pages visited and interactions to measure usage and advertising performance. Where a cookie-choice tool is available, you can manage the choices it offers; you can also manage cookies through your browser. Restricting cookies may affect some website functions. A cookie choice does not constitute consent to direct marketing using your contact details.
External links and third-party messaging or social platforms have their own privacy policies. Consider those policies before sending information through them. Use an agreed document-delivery channel for sensitive application records, rather than public comments or open groups.
7. SECURITY AND RETENTION
We will take all practicable steps to protect personal data against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use, with safeguards appropriate to the data and the circumstances. Access should be restricted to authorised persons who need it for their duties. No website, email or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is used, including application follow-up, applicable record-keeping obligations and handling relevant disputes or legal claims. The period depends on the record type, service and applicable requirements. When data is no longer needed, we will take practicable steps to erase it or remove identifying information, and require relevant processors to address retention appropriately.
8. ACCESS, CORRECTION AND PRIVACY ENQUIRIES
You may request access to and correction of your personal data held by us. Send a written request to the Privacy Enquiries Contact at info@premiervisagroup.com, or by post to Office 3605, The Center, 99 Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong. Telephone: +852 3620 2559. Please identify the request clearly. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and authority.
We will handle requests in accordance with the Ordinance, including the applicable 40-calendar-day period for access and correction requests, subject to its provisions and exceptions. A fee for a data access request, if applicable, will not exceed the costs directly related to and necessary for complying with it. You may also contact us about withdrawing consent or unnecessary data retention; any request will be considered alongside applicable legal obligations and the services you have requested. We will explain material consequences where relevant. Privacy concerns may also be raised with Hong Kong’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data at www.pcpd.org.hk.
9. CHANGES
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, data handling or applicable requirements. The revised version and update date will be posted on this page. Posting an update or continued use of the website does not replace any fresh notice or consent required by law. This policy does not authorise the public use of identifiable client documents or testimonials; any such use requires a separate appropriate basis and permission.
